I am always on the hunt for the best books for entrepreneurs to develop and strengthen my knowledge and mindset. I have read dozens of books in the last year that have really shaped who I am today. Many of them you have probably already heard of, and a few may be new to you. from changing the way you talk to yourself to having a better money mindset, these books have guided me to be a better entrepreneur and have changed my business for the better.
Without further delay, here are my personal top 5 best books for entrepreneurs!
The 5 Second Rule by Mel Robbins
Starting with one of my favorites, The 5 Second Rule by Mel Robbins has been extremely beneficial to me and my business. I have listened to the audiobook three times already, and I can’t say enough about this book.
She really dives deep into how we overthink every action we take, and how we often talk ourselves out of doing the things we want the most. The 5-second rule also helps me do the things I don’t want to do, but should.
This book has had a huge impact on my business! I used to spend too much time overanalyzing every blog post, every pin design, and every single thing I did. I was literally accomplishing nothing because I was spending all of my time trying to be perfect at it. Now when I have an idea or feel inspired, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, create it!
If you find yourself spending too much time worrying about what others think of you, or if you struggle to simply get out of bed in the morning, listen or read this book!
You Are a Badass – by Jen Sincero
You Are a Badass by Jen Sincero is another personal favorite that I have listened to multiple times already. This book is what initially got me into the whole mindset development idea.
I listened to the audiobook about a year ago. It really opened my eyes to all of the ways I was living my life the wrong way.
This book inspired me to start my business and learn that I can accomplish my biggest dreams. She writes with such a casual, in your face style. Listening to her is like having a conversation with a friend.
What to Say When You Talk to Yourself – by Shad Helmstetter
Do you talk to yourself like you talk to others? Or do you tend to think negative thoughts like “Gosh, I’m such an idiot” or “I can’t do anything right!”
If you do, you are not alone. I was guilty as well. I never really noticed how negative my self talk was until I really started paying attention to what I was thinking.
What to Say When You Talk to Yourself by Shad Helmstetter is all about changing your self-talk and learning how to let go of those nasty thought habits you have carried through your entire life.
Learn how to break the stream of negative self-talk, and watch great things happen in your life when you start to have a positive thought pattern.
Out of all the the books I have read this year, What to Say When You Talk to Yourself has been the most impactful.
Girl, Stop Apologizing – Rachel Hollis
Girl, Stop Apologizing by Rachel Hollis is a goldmine for moms who want to start a business. Rachel really knows how to break down the walls we have built up and start going after what we really want in life.
Just because you are a mother doesn’t mean you need to toss all of your dreams into the trash.
Reading this book made me feel like a badass. I recommend this for anyone who struggles with self-doubt and feelings of unworthiness.
Unleash Your Inner Money Babe – Kathrin Zenkina
Whether you are brand new to manifesting, or you’ve practiced manifestation before, this book is a game changer. I LOVE Kathrin’s podcast, and her book is just as fantastic.
This book is actually a workbook. The goal is to teach you how you can manifest money into your life. If you want to learn more about what manifesting is, check out the Manifestation Babe website to find out more.
So there you have it! These are the top 5 best books for entrepreneurs that I have read in the last year. Each one has improved my mindset and helped me grow my business in one way or another. Have you read any of these books yet? Let me know!
